Superior tetsu equipment degrades to broken after 72,000 charges of combat, and can be repaired for coins at a Repair NPC or armour stand, or for trade goods at the anvil in the player-owned port. Tradeable tetsu equipment degrades over 60,000 charges of combat, and will vanish completely once exhausted. Tetsu weapons degrade to broken after 30,000 charges of combat, and can be repaired for coins at a Repair NPC or armour stand, for trade goods at the anvil in the player-owned port, or with tengu tsubas. The superior versions will be converted to the following regardless of charge: Upon death in dangerous PvP, the inferior versions will drop as that item with the same amount of charge for the killer. It can also be reclaimed from Death at a cost of 20% of its recharge cost (inferior 10% of Grand Exchange price). A total of 12 scroll pieces are required to be able to craft the head, body, and leg pieces of the armour, and an additional 4 scroll pieces are needed to make the weapons. One tsuba is awarded from the Guardians of the World trio missions, and more are available from occasional standard voyages (provided maximum distance has been reached in ports, and The Shield is the focused region).īefore the armour can be made, the ability to make the pieces must be unlocked. The ideal adventurers to gather plate are The Whaler (Fishing) and The Memory (Divination), with The Biologist (Herblore) and The Exile (Dungeoneering) providing duo voyages for plate pearls are best gathered by The Architect (Construction) and The Chef (Cooking). Plate is the trade good required for the armour's production, and the weapons also require pearls and a tengu tsuba. The armour can be made at 90 Smithing (and the weapons at 92 Smithing) in the port's workshop, which is not boostable. 85 Defence is required to wear the armour, and 85 Attack is required to wield the weapons.
